Tags: Mercedes Benz, S Class The Mercedes Benz S-Class Coupe has come in to take over from where the classic CL Class model as the new personal luxury car of choice with three different models on the market:
- Entry-level: S 500 Coupe (Twin Turbo 4.7-litre V8)
- Mid-level: S63 AMG Coupe (Twin Turbo 5.5-litre V8)
- Flagship: S65 AMG Coupe (Twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12).
According to the German auto maker, the car is built using a shorter version of the chassis used in the S Class saloon. The S-Class Coupe is in the same league as the Aston Martin DB9 and the Bentley Continental GT just with more technology at a lower price.
The new S-Class Coupe features include a new Active Curve Tilting Function system which leans the car into turns like a motorcycle for a comfortable ride and the use of Swarovski crystals in the daytime lights and indicator repeaters.
